If your only goal is the SAS, join a regiment, Corps or Navy or RAF, where controlled asthma is accepted. You will have to serve min 3 years before selection and if you have had no problem in those 3 years you will be accepted for selection, if you meet all the other criteria.
Another route is to join the cadets for a couple of years and see if this causes any problems. This will leave no paper trail of your condition and no one will worry if you do not admit it.
It really is not a good idea to hide it on your army medicals when trying to be a regular. Like Damocles sword it be hanging over you all the time.
