Why do you have to be solid in order to get a tattoo?

Because otherwise the tattoo gun sinks into the drippy, fluidy mess that is your body

whilst on my fishhead language course in pompy,(highbury technical college) we had a dog handler from guz, "H", sugested we went for a tat, one sat afternoon. a couple of beers later, we hit the tattooists, "H" went first, kneeling in the old barbers chair, strides round his knees. he had a "W" on each buttock, and when bending over, the "O", would reveal itself, spelling"WOW", (NOT THAT I EVER HAD A LOOK) "H", stepped out of the chair, covered in sweat, and where his knees had been, were two little puddles of sweat. Your turn mate, said the tattooist, yeh right oh mate, see you in the pub H.

Ahoy there!
During my 22 I was tempted on many occasions to 'get ink' but never did. Many of my oppos got some very impressive tats especially when we were deployed to some exotic corner of 'our Globe'.
However I witnessed some spectacular cock ups. One of the lads at 40 Cdo returned after a visit to Doc Price and was proudly showing of his new 'Royal Marines Commando' tat on his shoulder when someone suggested that Doc might have been a little under the weather.
The tat actually read 'Royal Marines Commado'.
To be fair Doc offered to correct his error at no extra charge. He changed the 'd' to an 'n' the 'o' to a 'd' and stuck another 'o' on the end. You could hardly see the join ..............NOT!

Please quit it with tthe tatoo business. If you want a tatoo get one, if u dont want one dont get one mate. Besides if u do get large tatoos then you wont be accepted as some officers and carreer advisors dont advise it.
Personally a tatto doesnt make you well hard. Just whatever you do dont get I love My Mum on it or else you hope not to get a shower with the boys again. Unles you are that way inclined??

Ahoy there!
Consider yourself fortunate that it wasn't Colin Grice that pinged you. Ask Hoppy.
Had to do fifty myself as I just spotted an Irish pennant, as brazen as you like, on my anorak.
