The browser is the application you use to browse websites.
Internet Explorer, Navigator etc?
You can get the version by going to the menu bar... Help > About.
It's a number after 'version'. :)

Are you getting any errors at all, or just no type box?
After looking at the code, im sure this is a client side related problem. :-?

Jay. dont worry I'm changing back to windows 98.....this XP is a load of shite and is doing my head in, apart from not supplying drivers for an assortment of Hard/software I have had oodles of probs inc. crashes and a 9.5 hour patch download! I'd be interested if anyone else has had the same probs.

I can only suggest there is a problem your side, maybe browser related. :(
You might have to wait off until the new chat arrives. :-?

Rob..... thanks for the offer....however I have now gone back to MS98 coz I'm not happy with XP mainly it would appear that a number of my more expencive hard/software are not supported by XP dirvers, a primaary case being my DV editor Pinnacle studio,
Although Im in the process of changing setups Im having probs
as the new machine I have is dedicated to XP..................but Im getting there......
Tnks anyway
