Just be yourself mate, let your soldiering skills do the talking. Most blokes couldn't give a f&ck what you get up to as long as you're good at your job. People get this piss taken out of them for EVERYTHING in the army, it's part of the banter you'll get to enjoy it, just don't be sensitive about it {and I don't mean that in a mincy way! ) May I suggest you go Para Regt, I think you'll fit in quite well ;)

Hmmm...interesting... Any PARTICULAR reason?? :-? I was thinking Catering Corps (as was) and fairy cakes etc...

I JEST!! To be honest, (and I mean what I said earlier about keeping it to yourself in the early years of your career) nobody would give a $hit once you're an established player in a unit.. A lot of blokes would probably be pretty comfortable about it in truth... at least they'd be FAIRLY confident you're not going to be $hagging their girlfriends while they're on course/exercise  ...........and they'd know who to come to if they wanted fashion advice.......

(BTW..Does my bum look big in this?)

APART from The Village People of course........

If you model yourself on 'Construction Worker' Village People-type person you may be alright with the plastic hard-hat and may even get into the Engineers..............

But if you turn up with full Red Indian head-dress regalia ain't NOBODY gonna want to know.........

...and the Californian motorbike cop thing is so 80's you'll never get away with it.......
