Politicians.... bahhhh!

In my experience Commandos are anything but dense. They are driven and make clear and concise decisions.

On the other hand politicians tend to sit on the fence and are obtuse for fear of losing their position on the gravy train which they also seem so often to abuse.

I know who I would trust when the chips were down................. :bad-words:

Too right. You may not have to be really academic to succeed in the RM, but you need a LOT of intelligence in other areas (common sense, lateral thinking, practical thinking, problem solving etc).

Every Marine I've known has been a top bloke, and really switched on.
