I'm completely open for the blatant exploitation of the Iraqi oil fields if that means gas/petrol prices become reasonably priced again.

First to Fire!!!
"First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win."
- Mahatma Gandhi (1869-1948)
"When you have to kill a man, it costs nothing to be polite."
- Sir Winston Churchill (1874-1965)

USArmy - you weren't by any chance advising the Kremlin in 1980 were you?
I think we agree that a) Sadam is a madman and b) doing nothing is not an option.
It is clear we must stop the proliferation of mass destruction weapons so that some madman surrounded by henchmen and a public baying for blood or revenge (in a society where genuine concern and mistrust of the powers that be is treated as trechery) can't inflict terrible casualties on a civilian population....erm.....which brings me back to my point. Got any mirrors in your house?
Phrases like "we want everyone to be like us" (not one of yours - granted) are disturbingly familiar to anyone who studied 20th century history. Some people believe it or not don't want to be like you but would be happy with some bread on the table so they can worship their god (or wash their car/horse) in peace.
Anyway I think I've said enough - enjoy the fireworks and the turkey shoot and y'all be sure and let us know when god's work is done.
