Its also a well known fact that 99.9% of people who are colour blind are raving homosexuals, so I cant work out why the RAF arent actively recruiting the sub human "ooh is it red or black" people we have in our mists.

Im not colour blind before Harry says owt!

Are you trying to suggest that I am one of these homosexuals that you speak of.

My mate is colour blind, we were on an exercise in Ballykinler one time. Comming back to the PB got shoot at by sniper etc.... During the debrief we were asked for descriptions of gunman vehicles direction of travel, all that good stuff. Came to Tam and he described someone totally diferent and diferent colour car. DS scratches his head and said there were two gunmen then? No said Tam I'm colour blind!

Out of interest is diabetes something that is picked up on an army medical, just read a few stories of people that got in the army with diabetes then were marched out again when it was discovered (or maybe they had developed it in the mean time).

I doubt it is worth even trying for me to join as I also had excerise induced asthma from 3 1/2 years ago although I never had an attack just struggled to get my breath after excerise for couple of months until I got an inhaler but I would have to wait until I have had no symptoms for 4 years I think.
Ring up, ask about speaking to the Medical Officer, who is probably a local civvy doctor for your unit, discuss it with him. My old CSM used to suggest becoming an ACF instructor to lads with medical dramas...
