To all British servicemen and women...
Missed the rudeness mate - just crack on - for me the devil's advocate sketch just isn't going to happen with you two so I'll be wrapping my hand in on that.

and assorted worthies in the Body Works Gym Bar in Jacksonville '95. If it was you Grungey you had a few good moves for an old fella (did you find a home for that cattle prod) - happy days
. I think the Klan fancy dress rig in Lejeune wouldn't have made us too many friends - nice try though.

OK girls, you both sound as bent as the fender on Betty Lou's Mustang. Now kiss and make up 'cos Uncle Dubya may need your skills in a dusty corner of the world.
There again how he'd let two Mississipi bar queens invade N. Korea is beyond me.

You should talk to somebody who gives a f**k.

Well Mr. Parry, to answer your question about two bar queens invading N. Korea. It all started one night in Austin, Texas. If I remember correctly, I had a run in my stocking and Leroy's make-up was just a mess so Dubya said.........

Is it? I was reading old threads and came across this. Now, on CNN today:USARMY_ wrote:The USA is not going to let N. Korea get away with it's recent/past behavior. [...]. Kim Jung Il is trying to milk cash out of lil' Bush like he did with the disaster known as Clinton. I know you guys loved Clinton but alot of problems as of late are directly linked to the Clinton years. At any rate, Kim Jung Il's time is running out.
http://www.cnn.com/2003/ALLPOLITICS/10/ ... index.html
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell says the U.S. has decided to offer security guarantees to North Korea as part of a deal to end Pyongyang's nuclear weapons program.
[...] Such an offer -- to be presented at the next round of six-party talks -- would represent a major change in direction of policy for the White House in its dealings with Pyongyang to try and curb the North's nuclear ambitions during the 12-month stand off.
North Korea has repeatedly said it will not give up its weapons program until it has a guarantee the U.S. will not attack.
But the Bush administration, until now, has said it would not be blackmailed into any concessions and has demanded Pyongyang act first and dismantle its program.
[...] "The North Koreans made pretty clear they wanted this [the security assurances]," the official said. "They didn't talk that much about economic assistance. This is the one thing they asked for."
(not: "they didn't talk that much about economic assistance". Well, how much is not much exactly? I'm beginning to understand where the pork in the 87 billion package for Iraq and Afghanistan is going)
He said that the administration is reviewing old language from U.N. agreements (note: I thought the UN was irrelevant, can't they make up their damn minds?!?) and other security assurances the United States has offered to other countries."
So. The message is clear. If you have nukes and are threatening enough, we'll leave you alone. Watch out, Fidel, and remember Grenada.
As for Syria, Ariel can clean your clock while we snarf popcorn.

Perhaps this is a positive move, the US has forced NK into acceptign they won't get anything, and so the only things the US are giving back what NK abandoned, ie: not beign directly threatened. And if this is strictly tied to nuclear disarmament then things will ahve worked out, the only problem is that NK is highly unlikely to back down to blatantly, so we'll have to see how this turns out.

I don't see that we have forced the North Koreans to accept anything. Rather they've shown other third world countries how to make sure we sit at the bargaining table.
The positive is that this may bring things from a boil down to a simmer. For the time being.
It also shows that war isn't always the first option, just the option we choose (we the US) when Israel wants us to, or when we have immediate gains from it.
A little aside about Israel-US relations: I've bitten my tongue many times rather than state what I thought on the matter, but a little tidbit in today's news really pissed me off.

So Israel finally comes out with the news that they have subs armed with nukes. But how did they come out with it?
U.S. officials disclosed the information as a caution to Israel's enemies amid heightened tensions in the region and concern over Iran's atomic program.
US officials disclosed the information. Are we now their @#$%* mouthpiece too?!? What next wipe their arses????

Yes Frank the Izzies own the US. People have been saying it for years and have been branded anti-semites for saying so. What exactly is it the Izzies want? Don't they realize their constant bad manners on the world playground and bad sportsmanship in global politics is eventually going to lead to terrible things for all the peoples of this planet?
Yep the UK was proped up by Lord Rothchild and his Izzy alliance, when the UK couldn't accomplish the Izzy agenda they took their money out of the UK and shoved it into the USA, now that the USA can't make it happen it sure is funny how the EU and the Euro are ascending to the top, investments in the USA are leaving for Europe.
I'm not an anti-semite, I think they deserve a homeland, everyone does, but when is enough enough? And at what expense? I know some moderate Izzies, but what is so special about a frickin desert? I'd vote to give them New York as a homeland, they all seem to like the place and no one will bother them there. I mean after the oil is gone from the middle east no one will want anything to do with the place.
Very peculiar people at times who never openly state when they will be satisfied, much like the blacks in America, complain, hollar and project anger even as they get what they want. Why can't people look around and be happy with what they have? I'm satisfied.

Being French (the French are often accused of anti-semitism) and working for 'you-can-guess-who', I shy away from openly criticizing them.Whitey wrote:Yes Frank the Izzies own the US. People have been saying it for years and have been branded anti-semites for saying so.
But goddamn if what's happening lately isn't proving you and Harry right...
Well Frank,
I feel bad sometimes for critisizing the uncritisizable people, honestly I do. My issue is they don't seem to have a plan or a goal put out as to their intentions or direction. I know Hamas does some drastic shit, and it causes Israel to have to respond drastically, but I'd be able to hold my head up high in support of the Izzies if they just laid their plan out on the table. Do they want more land? Well say so, if not then say so. I still can't understand why Arafatso is still around? Do they want him? It's like I used to ask my ex-, what will make you happy? She never could figure out what she wanted, and made my life hell in the process. Same seems the place with the Izzies, they just spontaneously do shit, the Arabs respond then the Izzies respond and the whole world has to suffer along with them. Divorcing them isn't an option either, how do we resolve this? That is my issue. I have an izzy in 2 of my classes, real nice lady, smart and my lab partner, talk about easy going not to mention an American citizen, but if I ask a question about when is it enough, or why not move to a place where no one will bother you (which is what I'd do) talk about an irrational emotional response, she say's me being a christian makes it impossible to understand the situation. How is that for tollerance and understanding? Man the shit boggles my mind. I look at history and I see they got a raw deal 99% of the time, but man I've gotten some raw deals in life, but I don't want revenge or anymore hard times, I just want to find peace, drink beer, grow a belly, increase my cholesterol and when my son is grown and doing well, I want to put my old tired head on a pillow and think as I drift off to sleep "I've got it so good." Why can't everyone desire the same? The events in the middle east make the world crazy and it funks up my dream of dying old fat and happy in my 60's/70's.
