Wholley, sure am mate, the Night Knight of the road. Bit late last night, came up the M1 north bound, and about 100 feet past Trowell services, on the southbound side, there was a wagon, unit on the hard shoulder, arse end of the trailer on the first lane, hazards flashing, next minute, whoomf, another wagon hit the arse end, motorway shut for hours while they cut the guy out. I think the other guy (in the original wagon) may have suffered a heart attack, at least he tried to get the wagon off the road. As you know mate, shyte happens, occupational hazard. I can remember a few years back, a petrol tanker was going to Folkestone, fully laden, approaching from the Deal end, down the steep hill when all of a sudden his brakes went, ended up going over the side and ending up in someones back garden

I wonder if you can claim salvage rights if it's on your land. Must be worth a fortune.
You should talk to somebody who gives a f**k.

I have just joined this site. At present I have alot of spare time on my hands after just had some re-constructive surgery on my shoulder.

Most of the time I have been on I have looked at the profiles of other on line users. Today at one point there were 11 users online. There were only two people including myself who were serving or ever had served.

I agree with the proposals wholeheartedly.

I’ve not been on here for long but the idea of screening out the dregs sound a good one.

I am currently have two years left at HMS Sultan studying for my Degree in Engineering so wont be going to sea for a while. What better way to spend my evenings than at home on the computer talking to like minded military folk without the hassle of the PSX generation bashing the keypad in an illiterate “operation desert storm” rage and annoying the F out of everyone else.

£5 for meaningful conversation and less XOٱ∆ gets my vote!

Rite mods,
I think the proposals are justified .Before I went into trainning I got a lot of good advice from the old and bold ,yet also from fellow wannabes who had both passed and failled PRMC's...The service is great and since going outside everyone was realy supportive and offered me more advice on what to do next...I also enjoy talking to the lads going in a spining my dits (opps I meant giving advice!)....Basicaly the stuff you learn on here is well worth £5!
A quick question though are you guys going to be offering a postal payment service for those of us too skint for credit cards and too bone to use paypal?
Matt....
