Because Sully

They can!

I have yet to meet a Bootneck that ever really worried about annoying other people. Royal just does what Royal wants to do and tough T*ts to the rest of humanity.

It's worked for me over the years.

Sully wrote:. Lads return to the hotel late and find former bootneck asleep slumped on the bar with trolleys round his ankles and soiled carpet :o Why do all bootnecks seem to have that 'kick the arse out of it' approach to just about anything they do?

Ha ha that's great. I once went to an RNR base; we got to the bar only to be told there was nowt to be had as the Marines had cleared it the night before. I've also got a friend in the army who drinks all the time. He puts it away for Britain, then staggers out of bed in the morning ready for action regardless. He drank himself unconscious at my house once, slept a few hours then when I booted him awake early that morning to catch a train he was straight up no grumbling. Quite impressive really.

There is a period of time in your life when you can really abuse your body and get away with both getting rat arsed and turning out next morning ready for anything . Father time usually has the last laugh and will call halt to this one way or another, and you just have to bow to his demands.

I can believe it. Me and my friends have noticed that the teenage years seemed to be the optimum for putting it away but after that it all kind of goes weird.
