Lance Corporal Payscales

Post by xxxrobxxx »

What are the payscales for a lance corporal and full corporal??
How long roughly based on merit would it take to get to this rank?

Cheers

Unless things have changed drastically your one stripe wonder is acting unpaid. Apart from that I am totally out of date on what a corporal gets in his pay packet, I can think of a few that weren't worth it and many that were worth a good deal more.

Yer spot on there barry... Lance Cpl is an appointment hence not paid. Some have been paid for it, so they thought, but that was after passing a JCC... pay scale went to 'Mne A' and they got a stripe. They never noticed the change of pay scale on their pay chit but noticed the number in the bottom right hand corner was bigger!
'Hey, I'm being paid for my LCpl lad!'
'Yep, he is, look, more than last month... must be getting paid for his stripe!'
Drums beating, colours flying and bayonets fixed...

Nice to see the RSM gets paid more than the Adjutant! As it should be!

Pay scales for regular force in Canada are about the same (a Capt gets about CDN$70G a year). Reserves get 15% less.
