Ahoy there Jay!
Could you please provide a step by step instruction on how to prepare a photograph then submit it in profile.

State board

Post by El Prez »

During the summer most of us declared we were disappearing off-line at various intervals as holidays approached. Occassionally we have lost other members temporarily as they went through busy periods or bad patches.
How about a 'state board' as part of the profile page similar to the MSN messenger system, where you could log out for leave, be around or off-line for a break. It would help us to relocate those needing an ear or ignore those away for their hols.
Anybody loosing their tally or failing to state their location fails the course.

I can sense Jay wanting to punch my lights out for that one.

Depository for using the site

Post by El T »

Jay / Tony,

Rather than have you guys having to answer basic questions on 'how to' and point at previous submissions - would it be possible to set up a depository (only you to be able to ad to / change) for basic info such as -

- Emoticons - how do you create /use one
- including pictures in a message
- signatures with pictures at the end of a posting

etc.

I am sure there are more things which people would like to know when they first join the site (or even when they have been on it for some time)

Hi Jay,
thank you for having spent a long time and effort getting the Photo File up and running.
It appears to be difficult in finding other members who have posted their pics I thought, perhaps, it would be possible to place some sort of mark (*) or (P) alongside each name in the memberships list for those who have added a pic of themselves, and perhaps a direct link to that persons profile.
There must be many like me who remember faces rather than names or nicknames
Thanks in anticipation

Jay,
Any chance of making the registration,ie, Location,Occupation and Intrests, manditory.
This would enable members to reply to threads knowing a little about the author, there a number of members who have left this part of registration blank, particually our student friends.

Jay,
Is it possible to squeeze a basic RAF Regiment forum in the RAF section? dosnt have to be as big as the booties ones (there heads are bigger )
Theres a couple of forums already on yahoo and msn clubs, so theres plently of rocks out there, but this site is a far better set up :D (alright, so I just like useing the smileys!)

Seen one, seen 'em all Jay. Ugly bloody furry things, always crying for more food, blankets and central heating.
