Hi All.. Just read loads of information on here and decided to signup to say what a great site it is, i've got a feeling this may decide the choice i make in joining the armed forces.

Recently dropped out of Uni and hoping to join, RAF and Navy are my favourite choice but being a Welshman i want to join the Welsh Guards aswell so it's a tough choice. Got a feeling i'll end up going to the Navy and i'm waiting for an interview in the AFCO.

Anyhow, got to go now, great site etc. Probably be on here again looking for some information.

Hywel why RAF or Navy ? Do you have any family connections to ether branch of the RAF or Navy ? Just curious :)

Hylô, i have a friends that have joined all branches but the more positive comments were about the RAF and Navy. i had two relatives in the RAF aswell and they said it was amazing, so i dunno.


What are the advantages and disadvantages of each? :)
