Don't worry sticks I was just joking, ain't I a stinker :D and I'll be ready soon (hopefully :o )
Ask yourself this: Would you stay if it were a paysite
The question is could I afford to stay, money managment is not one of my strong points. Already had to leave a site because of it becoming a paysite :( Nice place for ex SEALs and wannabes, pretty much like here. Pity I had to leave but I'm glad I found this place, you guys a great, group hug now everyone, can you feel the love! hmmm I think I'll be quite now...

Just keep in simple there isn't even a need for a private section of the site, if someone is being a tosser then he gets a warning, if he does it again blacklist him. Now moderator might not be able to read every post but someone will read the post and just quote it pm it and give the link to a 'god' and have them sort it out.

It might not be needed but it is a place where all you old and bold can go without getting the tossers asking silly questions, plus it gives us wannabes an incentive :)

I don't really mind the stupid posts now and again, it gives me a laugh and they always end up getting kicked anyway but if someone does want to get away from them then there is somewhere where they can. And like sticks said you can always be voted in if they like you so you don't have to be ex or serving, well as far as I understand it.

PS Sticks, how do you know if a new member is real or just a walter?

I've got a phone and email... everybody knows somebody who knows somebody else. The Corps is small... I could probably name most of the blokes I have crossed paths with.
Knocker
Smudge
Dusty
Tosh
Scouse
Taff
Drums beating, colours flying and bayonets fixed...

Folks, dont know why you are getting so worried and worked up.

The Bunker is a place for serving and ex R.M.s so I dont know why you would want to go there.

You have plenty of scope here.

I have no desire whatsoever to join or visit or discuss RAF, ARMY, PARA etc sites apart from the odd browse. I have no interest in airsoft guns, paintballing, survivalism, the TA, wargaming, conspiracy theories, extremism.

Like a lot of folks I was getting fed up with some of the stuff on a R.M. discussion site.

Its not a secret society or a society with secrets.

Its just a place where a group who share a common bond can get together and spin a few dits or arrange to meet, have a few laffs and swing the lamp etc.

Its as simple as that.

Black Rat,

You say that The Bunker is for serving and ex Marines, well I notice that you have some ladies in there, are these just for comfort or are they ex marines.

Ha!! money didn`t Buy My Green Lid, and I doubt it didn`t Buy Tabs Maroon one, or Chunky`s sand one, but a lot of pain, sweat, hardship, determination and a load of other factors got it for us. So Davo, get training, and do what we all did, "Earn It" :drinking:

Along with earning your Lid, whatever colour you choose, you will then start to earn peoples respect, that doesn`t come cheap either.
