From a (now) disillusioned Conservative voter all my life. There is only one party who fits that bill for me right now and that is the BNP, if the Tories do decide to go right of centre then I will support them again.
Spanners,

I would hope so. They would, wouldn't they??

I can understand your disillusion. They booted out Thatcher, axed Major, screwed Hague and shafted IDS. What hope have they possibly got? The sooner we can get some balance back into British politics the better. Somehow, I can't see Howard providing it.

Of course, we all put our 'X' where we want. It's interesting to see the BNP described as 'right of centre'. It does seem their propaganda is working. Griffin is, at least, having some success with his stated intention/strategy to dupe the general public. They are so far right, the 'centre' is an unimaginable concept to their leaders.

Well.
I just read through the BNP's website and I did not find anything overtly
racist.Griffin seems fairly reasonable or am I missing something?
I find it interesting that conservatives in the UK are in such disaray,
but here it's just the opposite.
Howard Dean!please win the nomination for your party.
It will ensure another four years for GWB.
Not that I think thats a very good option presently.

Well the whole racist idea is really quite ridicoulous if I remeber my biology correctly blacks, asians, whites etc.. are all 99.99% the same DNA it is just that amoung the same ethnic group you are something like 99.999% the same DNA. Hell we are something like 91% genetically the same as Chimpanzees.

I think alot of the word racism should be changed to culturism or something, as alot of the time you don't hate say asians, but you hate when they come and don't even bother trying to learn the language of the land.

I wouldn't even say its bad for the land unless a million of them don't speak english they cut themselves out from a completely different world its there losds not ours.

That's exactly the point, wholley. At a KKK rally in Texas in 2001 he stated that he wasn't going to sell out his principles - but he was going to change how he sold them. {repeating from another post} He told them he was going to use words like, 'country, identity, etc.....' Words which no-one could really disagree with. And he is having success in hoodwinking large [though not significant] numbers of the British Public.

The BNP always was, and still is, a Nazi party.

Funny how so many people have forgotten that this country stood alone in 1940 against the obscenity of facism/Nazism and are now prepared to support the very principles we {or our parents} fought so honourably and determinedly to banish forever.

We often hear in the UK how we didn't 'win the war' to let Germany take us over by political means in the EU. And some of the very same people are now voting BNP. Work that one out if you can?!? :( :-? :(

Politics as usual then Sisyphus?
I don't know anything about the BNP or it's leader,
but I do recognise Facism when I see it.
As a lad in the UK"Britain First" were a popular party, they then became
the NF which I found sickening.Speaking of which,if you really want a good barf read Gerry Adams new book."A Farther Shore,Irelands Long Road to Peace"Murdering SOB had some pull in the US until the Clintonistas lost
He makes me so angry,Ill just have to drink more.

The new study found that 99.4 percent of the most critical DNA sites are identical in the corresponding human and chimp genes. With that close a relationship, the two living chimp species belong in the genus Homo, says Morris Goodman of Wayne State University in Detroit.

Shucks wholley,

Why not? By the way, can you remind me how many threads I've started with Politics as the theme? Er, none, I think - but I might be wrong.

I doubt I'll get round to reading Adams book - at least not for a long time My list is getting longer and longer! :-?

I might just have a slurp with you! There again, I guess that the price for peace is that sometimes you have to sup with the devil. I'm sure, Blair, Major, Ahern, don't really like the slimeball.

The only time I would consider even thinking about Adams book would be if I ran out of Toilet Roll!

Do I take it that we are talking about Gerry Adams MP democratically elected with the second highest majority vote in Ulster or have we gone off track on this thread?

Gerry Adams.........

a guest in Maze when I was there. He is a very tall guy(6ft.4"ish) with a lefty wooly hat as it was at the time. He always used to attack the nearest on the right, as he was led out of the nissen huts. So we had our 'hardest bloke' plus a big dog, and some of his friends there for Adams.

Adams should be in the ether by now.

Someone said 'patriotism is the love of your own and nationalism is hatred of others'. Thoughts..?
