Does anyone know where I can find some info on the IDF training, it's been harder to find than a raisin in a rabbit cage.

Easy - it breaks up the outline of the head and aids camouflage :).

Cheers Voodoo, now all I need to do is learn Hebrew :)

Couldn't find anything specific about what they train to do, the most I could find out was the length. Anyone know where to get a walkthrough of training?

I did 4.5 basic training which finesed with trench and street figthing all live fire then to the siniper couse then back to advaced training with my company,then boarder duty then more advaced training in the NaHal para battlion inculding sea landing.The end of my sevice was in a small sniper group in the battlion.
One of my mates had done 3 years in the British army and said the the basic training was simler.
now that I'm in the resevres i understand why we were told that the 3 years NS is just the begining.
