HI to all those of you who will be winging your way to Anglesey tomorrow. The weather could be more promising but the hospitality will clear the skies .. Have a safe trip up or down here, I shall be at the site between 1600 and 1700 and the will check in with the site owners thereafter.
See you all tomorrow

I'm sorry to have to shoot through on you like this, but today started with a mega migraine that is only just easing off now at 18:00. I've had to make a decision and that is it would be daft to try and drive up there in my state.
:banghead:

So you'll just have to get pissed without me, I think you all know how and will not need any second telling. :drinking:

Have a good time one and all,

Luv and Kisses to the girls :kissing2:

Archie,

It would be unwise to drive up in your state. Suggest you try car, instead! :-?

I blame your wife for making unreasonable sexual demands on you! :)

Hope you're better soon!

The Wash-Up

Ok........ Where did I go wrong!!!!!!!!!!..?

Appologies from, Archie, Bootneck and Artist...
Leaving Definates, Flo & Jed, Jacki & Dolly and perhaps others?

I had arranged with the site owners that when each party arrived or when they made themselves known, that they would pass on my, home Tel No, Mobile, and Work No....... no one made themselves known to the office.

Friday I was on site at the gate and office from 1600 to 1730 and again 2000-2130, also touring the site in our Black Vauxhall Zifara, which was emblazoned with A4 sized posters of a Globe and Buster and Corps colours! on the side windows and front screen. Not only that, I made quite a spectacle of myself in asking the resident campers if they were Royal Marines or from the Military Forums site! I also toured the local Hostelries with no result.
Saturday night Barbara and I carried out the same search once I had returned from work at 2115. We also checked out the adjacent camp & caravan sites just in case someone had made a wrong turn!

To say I'm a wee bit pissed off would be an understatement... the only thing I think I should have done was perhaps to have PM'd you my Mobile Number, otherwise I thought I had all event covered.

Not to worry, I'm game if you are.....the three cases of beer and the bottles of cider in the back of my car, will be vintage by next year!

On a final note.... while the rest of the country, especially the south and west...had foul weather, Anglesey was bathed in sunshine and light winds for the three days. the Sunset saturday evening was especially beautiful as the Snowdon range was bathed in a Pink glow. NO I had'nt started of the beer:lol:      :D :D :D :D :D :D

Well there we are then.......Perhaps I was a bit naive to expect every one who didn't partisipate for what ever reason to forward an apology?
But thank you... to those who did. Those who did'nt... well.........................

I am prepared to have another bash again next year.
As the 30 miler No2 will be in June, I suggest we make it either early in the year (May) or toward the end of the school holidays, say August, but remember camp sites will be full and prices rise. Those interested please PM me.... If I get no PMs I will take it that its a no goer, and I'll have to drink the beer that I bought for this year!
Aye

Ps Just received a PM from Flo, Jed's seniors got in the way!
