937 Squad

Post by Gibbo »

I think this must be an earlier 937 Squad - Mine joined up at Deal on 1st of March 1971 and the DL was Sgt Pittock - I don't remember anyone called Hughes unles he joined us from Chosin Troop

I think you will find that 937 troop was the last of the old troop numbers I was in 7 troop which joined Deal June 29 1971, and on joining CTCRM 6 weeks later 937 were still at CTCRM then.
retired C/Sgt AE1
40Cdo,41Cdo and 45Cdo between 1971 and 1994.

Thank you Pat, and thanks to all who pm`ed me. The following is typical,
937 Squad was a National Service Squad joined ITC Lympstone 1959, was one of the last NS Squads to pass out - members went to either 40 in Malta or 45 in Aden.
We were all Ex RMFVR only 15 in the Squad - Have now found 9 of them
Thanks again for your help, lads. I will pass-on the details I have
