hi im stu and im after some help tracing the history of a land rover , and the significance of the marking on it ,

what i no so far is it was built in 1963 and it was dispatched to the Central Army Vehicle depot, on the 5th December 1963

it has the ERM or 73 EK 82

we are in the proses of striping the panels and under all the paint we found this on the drivers door

any help you can give would be useful to help restore it with its original markings
