Hey.
Wondering how difficult basic training can be and does it differ between male and female applicants?

Speaking in general terms as I served in the Army not the RAF, basic is as difficult as you make it.
Basic training is a progressive package where they take you as "raw material" as such and mould your potential through a series of phases which increasingly demand higher standards as you become better able to match them. At all times you will be expected to give your best effort and trust me you will unlock reserves of stamina and endurance you did not realise you possessed. It will be physically and mentally draining but also rewarding.
Keep your head down and play the game.
PS. RAF basic training will teach you how to complain about the standard of hotels whilst on exercise
Enjoy
