Which boots do they use in training.

Hello everyone. I just wanted to ask if anyone knew the exact boots i'll be using during training when i start later this year. I want to buy my own pair in advance so i can get used to them and to also toughen my feet up as best i can by going through the blister stage.
Also if anyone has a link to a site that sells them would be handy.

You will be issued with the basic leather assault boots, nothing else.
The brand can vary as to has the contact at the time to produce, mostly they are unbranded and have been known to come out of the hi-tec factory but i can not confirm this.
If you want to condition your feet, feel free to buy any type of hard wearing boots.

So if i just buy any of the many combat boots that available online i should be close as possible to the real thing?

To be honest any combat boots will do, even a good grade from a army surplus store.
After you have passed basic and settled, then feel free to buy something more comfortable combat boot wise if need be.

Oh so you can buy your own boots? I always thought you got standard issue as everyone had to match? Interesting.

As Beast said ~In training you will wear issue.

After is unit dependant. My first RSM insisted we wear issue unless one had a sick chit that authorised you to wear lowas.


Wait and see, you will get Issue first. Focus on passing training and getting out of the "crow" stage first mucker.
