Post by vezza91 »

Hi everyone.

Wondered if anybody could give me any information on plumbing jobs in the army.

Im a fully qualified plumber with my gas qualifications.
I have got level 2 qualifications in Key Skills (maths and english).

Does anybody know if these quals are enough that i could join.

Any information will be greatly appreciated.

The Army don't expect you to turn up fully qualified. You might be eligible for a 'Golden Hello' (cash lump sum) if you join. Your best source of info is at the recruiting office mate. I was a fully qualified mechanic when I joined as a vehicle mechanic and still had to do a year long trade course. I don't know if that's the same with plumbers :-)

Good luck!
