My first job choice is Duke of Lancaster reg they said they have 8 places left in junior were I'm going and 1 is taken... Is it likely that I will get my frist job choice?

My other two were Para's and Artillery but I'm going to have to pick two new ones because it won't be likely I'll get in them due to not enough places

And when I go back to selection how are you graded there? My run time is 8:20 it will be dropped below 8 minutes by the time I'm at selection and I have no problem with the 40 kg bag lift my weak points are Ice breaker I'm confident but talk fast naturally and get about 1.20 and command tasks coz I can't think of what to do half the time I'd rather just do stuff than give out orders

Well I've just recently passed ADSC and i got my 1st job choice (Artillery) so it depends on what grade you get etc. If you get A-B grade you are pretty much guarantied a place, however if you get a C you still have a chance of getting a place it just means you have to wait a bit longer. Anything below a C and you're not going to have much luck.
Don't worry i'm not a very confident person and my fitness isn't up to scratch, i did my run in 12:02 and i some how got a low B and got a call the next few days with my start date. When you're doing the icebreaker just do it the best you can, forgot about everyone, and the team tasks even if you're just shouting random names out you pass it, don't be quiet. Don't worry.


Just remember 110% effort.
