ahh right ok, best of luck m8, you will have another Interview at ADSC but with an even higher ranking officer who's job it is to give you the Yes or the No about joining, so take this as practice :)

Yes the ADSC Interview is very much like the ones you would have been doing at your Careers Office, but I found more focused on personal life rather than job choices, but I suppose it's a different experience slightly for everyone.

Hi lads, sorry there havent been any updates!!

I was meant to have my first ADSC on the 30th august ..but i went and dislocated my arm 3 days before so i've been pushed back 3 months till the end of december untill my physio is up and the office has my application on hold!

Hopefully should be updating a lil more soon! :)

Hi Alistair, i've enjoyed following your application story :D Much different to when i joined in 2008! We only had an informal interview covering mainly paperwork, a BARB test then a formal interview with the OC and if he liked you well enough and all your paperwork was done... you were packed off to ADSC where everything was just pass or fail not the points system! I was in my phase 1 after just a 3 month application period. It was much easier back then if you ask me :P but there were a lot of guys that dropped out or were binned by the training staff. When i passed out there was only 20 left out of the original 50!

That's my little story just to highlight how much things have changed :) Best of luck to you guys that are joining up!
