When I started my app I was 21. I turned 23 last week, but that's a pretty extreme scenario. I've had a lot of unfortunate delays.

I applied July 2011, started training May 2012.
I'm also led to beleive this is not normal, because there were some paperwork issues related to finding documents from my previous etc.

Handed in application september 2011, will have my specialist interview feb 2013. Dont know how long after that till i start training.
Taken longer as im a re-enlister and going for dog handler.
