RAF Officers Interview

Post by Edward Johns »

Hello,

In january i had applied to be an Officer with the RAF (Reigment), but failed on the initial interview at the careers office. One of the reasons was for nerves (rubbing hands together when answering questions) but the other was a lack of team / community / charity work.

My hope was to join the police as a community support officer for a few months, but it seems that they also have stopped recruiting so i am now unsure what experience would be suitable for the required experience.

Might anyone have any suggestions?

Much appreciated.

Well the issue is that i currently work full time, so wouldn't be able to take a long distance commute for community work, and many police forces arent even taking on volunteer roles.

Currently looking into the scouts but unsure if that would be suitable team managing experience.

Just to add, this police persuit was purely volunteer based, to help with my RAF officer application as i was deferred until december.
