Lmao brings back memories
We were adventure training in Cornwall early in my career and we had to put on, as sections, a sods opera, I had watched this a few weeks previous to the exercise and we decided to do it with me as the SM!
Wasnt quite upto monty standards and I think alot of those watching failed to get the jist of it from my rather crap performance. There was a muffled applause at the end and we all bimbled off to our tents.
What was great in thought wasnt so great in application.
Cheers for that memory jog Gunner, laughed out loud I promise you.

'vere ist ze humour?? vere???'
yeah Iv been in same boat. The Cpl on my recruit training was a comedy genius and to me the Sgt MJR in this sketch reminded me of him. He would work his way along the ranks doing parade inspection and come out with classics like 'WHO CUT YOUR HAIR? THE COUNCIL?? LOOKS LIKE ITS BEEN DONE OVER WITH SOME F*CKIN TOE NAIL CLIPPERS MY LAD'....absolute brilliance
