Supplies will have to be hauled by truck as the helicopters can't do it all.

Re: rlc driver
Hia i was gonna go for RLC Driver however when i spoke to an army careers advisor he told me that he and the guy next to him were both in the infantry and both hold all the licenses that you would get as an RLC Driver so that swayed my mind. If you fancy it though then go for it it's your choice.
Re: rlc driver

Re: rlc driver
Can you opt to drive artic's in the RLC all the time? I've already got my licence, but cant get experience, a job.
Getting fed up with no money, no life, but want to specifically gain experience driving class 1. Anyone know what I could go for?

Now how many males end a post with kisses, may I ask Nat what sex you are, or is it a case you are not sure.

I'm assuming we're talking 'Natalie' rather than 'Nathan'? Either that or Nathan is very friendly..... Lots of good female drivers in the RLC mindTab wrote:Now how many males end a post with kisses, may I ask Nat what sex you are, or is it a case you are not sure.
It's not like working for Eddie Stobart... You don't get allocated a truck, you drive what needs to be driven. Having said that, of course it depends which Regiment/Squadron you get posted to. Most of the RLC heavy delivery fleet is rigid anyway, with DROPS as the most common.WallysWorld wrote:Can you opt to drive artic's in the RLC all the time? But if you have experience with artics you may end up at 27 Regt where you could be in 19 Tank Transporter (TT) Squadron based in Bulford. They use the Oshkosh 1070F 8 x 8 tractor truck and do heavy haul work.

Not sure which is the Tank Transporter Squadron in Germany... There used to be a Sqn which seemed to be almost entirely made up of old Polish soldiers from the war.... Hopefully they've all long been put out to stud........
