What is life like in the RAF Regiment with a family?

I am looking at joining the RAF Regiment as a Gunner. I have my first test coming up soon. I am married with two children one 4 years old and a 1 year old. I have spoken the the careers adviser but want to hear from someone who has been in the same position and how they are copping. Is this a good life for a family?
