TALO.. Hmm, Is it Tactical Air Landing Operations? If it is; Im pretty sure most regiments/battallions do this just now in Afghanistan, or so I was told while in basic training for the Royal Regiment of Scotland. We had a lot of recruits wanting to join 5 Scots because they were attached to 16 Air Assault Bde, but our NCO's 'politely' informed them that everyone will be doing it in Afghan. A few NCO's from the 3 Scots the Black Watch had actually took part in one of the biggest air assaults in recent times (according to them), and also said tht the PWRR would be taking part in an even bigger air operation (which I beleive they did).

If Im wrong  haha worth a try though! lol
