conflict In libya

Post by Thomas_Bryson »

Greetings since the ONU attacks I think it will will be necesary to send troops to preserve the population free of the continuos harrasment of the loyal forces to the "president", but it seeems... complicated. Anyone knows if the french or Uk army will be going to lybia, because I doubt it about US army.

It'll be alright now.
The UN have taken control.
Korea anyone?
The UN dropped that like a hot potato running around with stupid light blue lids until the British withdrew after Chosin leaving the Australian's and the US to sort it.

France on our side???
Pass the cheese and white flags.

Well it was MacArthur that got them into trouble at Chosin and at the time he would not take a word of advice from any one including his President.

Libyan rebel commander was living in NE Virginia until a few months ago. The Libyan rebels have established a central Libyan bank and a Libyan stock exchange already while slugging it out on the ground and losing ground despite the close air support. Rag tag spontaneous rebel army my ass. They even started a new oil company.
The US and UK need money, they are knocking Gaddafi in the head for his wallet is all this is.
Let them call me a rebel and I welcome it, I feel no concern from it; but I should suffer the misery of demons were I to make a whore of my soul. (Thomas Paine)

With the whole mid-east including Syria having problems with thier populations I think a "Watch and Shoot"atitude is probably best.
Not that the British can do much else.

Tab I was joshing about the seventh as their hopeless on boats :D
See the UN have screwed it up again.
800 civilian casualties in Ivory Coast and the UN just watched.
As for MAcArthur he worked for the government of the time,he was certainly not responsible for the debacle at Chosin.
McNamara got a much higher body count in Vietnam and he wasn't even trying real hard.

People have always said that the 3rd world War is likely to come from the middle eastern area. With all the tension and uprisings going on how long will it be before this happens. The trouble is from what i see all the conflicts at the moment are no win situations for everyone.

The rebels need hope and change. Seriously I wouldn't arm the rebels, Gaddafi wants to sign over the oil, seems reasonable. These rebels aren't people we can trust any more than we can trust him. Keep the devil we know, or ethnic cleanse the whole damn continent. Colonialism worked, diversity, multiculturalism and this globalism crap uplifting masses and crap works like a Rugby bat. It's all bullshit.

Consice, heartfelt and to the point Tick Tock.
I just have one question for dear ole Pete.

As a Scottish Nationalist would you have your own anti-sat?
Or just use the American/British/French systems?

Very independent.
Now do as Timex suggested so eloquently
