Hi to everyone and does anyone have any ideas;
My son has been deployed to Afghan and I need to sell his car. Any ideas for the best place to advertise this.
Im located in London and don't seem to be having much luck in shifting it. It's a decent car and at a good price.
Thanks in anticipation.

First of all do you have the permission to sell your sons car and do you have all the documentation. It would be best you you have a letter of authority from your son to sell his car before you do any thing else.

I used to use the local papers to sell mine but there again I lived in London. There are of course web sites that specialise in sort of thing for a fee, have you tried these at all.

In same position with my lad who left me to deal with it having just left for tour. Land rover freelander. Its valued at £2000 so not a big concern but with current fuel rises 4x4's dont seem to be easy. 'We buy any car' was a first option but they offer book price and then take a fee. Some salvage companies will actually take it at book price and break apart as long as its not too expensive in price. I'm getting interest at £1600-£1800 so possible option. Dont know what car your son has but try it if its under £2000. 'Bungy'
