How to improve the jerry can carry.

Post by Derby 1992 »

Is there anything I can do to improve my jerry can carry?

I have those hand grip things but I was wondering if there is anything more effective?

Cheers.

If you've been training you should have no problem doing this test.. You will get dead arms at the end but just keep the pace up with the PTI. Its easy! press ups etc that you should already be doing will help.. good luck.

OK thanks.

It's not really my arms or shoulders that cause the problem though, obviously I feel it the morning after and sometimes straight after, it's more my hands.

There's the obvious pain gripping the cans which I can put up with, but it comes to a point where my hands are stretched and I can't grip the cans properly anymore, causing them to slip out my hands, I have never willingly put them down...
