Hello and respect to all of you on this Rememberance Sunday.
We hope someone can help. My associate has already posted the following on the General Board but I wanted to spread the word as much as possible.
We are looking for help from EOD people, so if you know anyone on this site or from your contacts, please do pass this on.
We are investigating alleged explosives detectors, marketed in the UK by two companies:
ATSC who sell the ADE range
and
Global Technical who sell the GT range
A company called Prosec distribute the ADE from Lebanon
WEBSITES LINKS ON NEXT POST
Both these products are copies of an earlier product from the U.S. called the MOLE, which failed independent testing.
This crap is being marketed and sold all over the world as long range explosive detectors. If any EOD guys can have a look at the relevant websites and give an informed judgement it would be most appreciated.
There may be a press investigation into this equipment so people willing to go on the record would be most welcome.
ATSC is run by a Jim McCormick, and Global Technical by Gary Bolton. We know that Mr. McCormick is making a lot of money from this con.
Both companies are putting peoples lives at risk. Please assist if you can. Many thanks!!

we have heard of this kit before, GT, and our contacts give us resonable reviews on the use of the GT200 in tactical situations. I have a lot of time for the UK EOD guys and the report we saw did say the kit worked. My contact said they had taken it on various ops and it worked. There seems to be a bit of witch hunt about the GT200 without any substantiated details of why this is taking place. What experience as an EOD operative do you have to speak from experience about its use or are you just regurgitating old info already posted. I have looked at stuff posted from Mexico and there are many details of reports of successful use, TV testamonials even the protection of Obama when he visited Mexico. My department would never buy without extensive trials and assume most countires are the same, so if these have been carried out how is it a fake. All I have read does not add up, all appears a bit bitchy, did you used to work for this company? whats you benefit form all this?
Re: FAKE EXPLOSIVES DETECTOR
The UK cops don't have as much confidence in this scam as the EOD guys that, 'tested' the device. The have raided and arrested the maker for fraud, amazing that, despite all the 'evidence ' the above poster has seen. must be some sort of witch hunt or are we back to conspiracy again
