Hi
I am at university studying operating department practice and ive always wanted to join the forces but was turned down previously as I had cancer as a teenager as wasnt in remission long enough when i applied.
Its now been long enough to reapply 10 years and I want to join as a operating department practioner but there is a catch I have had a inhaler last year ive never been diagnosed with asthma and never had an attack! will this mean waiting another 3 years on top of the 8 ive already waited ?
Are the rules different if i apply to go in as a officer after my degree ?
advice welcome
Thank you
sorry if i am posting twice im interesed in RAF aswell and unsure if it would be different for them

five years clear from your last issue of an inhaler this is the same for soldier or Officer!
