hello i am 15 and want to join the army , my parents are from kosova but i was born and raised in london . im muslim , i regularly smoke cannabis and it hasnt really affected my health and i am not phisically nor mentally addicted i always workout/weight train when i can. i want to join the AFC army college for the 42week course and was wondering do they do drug test here too. also i am not doing very well at my last year in school but im not a brainless mug i think i might get like 2 GCSE's from maths because ive always been strong at that subject and will that be enough to join the Para's. Thanks for the HELP

Well first thing fella...STOP SMOKING CANABIS! they will check and they will do random drug tests. Secondly get out running fcuk the gym you don't need it, if you wanna join the Paras crack on the miles and keep doing them. Thirdly you can be the dumbest cnut in the world and join the Paras, like I said crack on the miles, sit ups, press ups and chin ups thats the main exercises you need to do.

Firstly whats your nationality?? Do you hold a british passport?
As for timing it right, just quit now if your serious about joining up.

if your not a British citizen or a member of the Commonwealth then you cannot join the British Forces.

WHY IS NO ONE TELLING ME IF THEY DO DRUG TESTING IN THE AFC COLLEGE / OR WHEN THE FIRST ONE WILL BE WHEN I JOIN THE FORCES. AND YES I WAS BORN IN THIS COUNTRY AND HOLD A BRITISH PASSPORT

Firstly stop shouting,
Secondly if your serious about joining up then just stop being an idiot and give up the weed.
Random drug testing is carried out all the time in the army, including Training.
Just be truthful with your recruiter and it will be noted and you will be ok.
However be prepared to be told to go away and come back in 12 months when you have kicked it.
We can pick and choose at the moment and from a Recruiters point of view I personally wouldnt touch you till you have shown me you can be clear of the stuff for at least six months.
By the way 2 GCSEs may not get you into Harrogate!

No expert here but im sure you cant start training of any kind untill you have had your medical, which will involve peeing in a cup so id stop now and take your training serious. Para's aint no walk in the park.

Peeing in the cup is not to test for drugs.
There is a drug test during training!!! Its that simple!
The bottom line as I have already said is quit now before even going in to the office, but in my Expert opinion I would be putting you off for 12 months!

yeah i just checked on the net that to join the 16-17 AFC college in harrogate no formal qualifications are required just supposed to do the computer thing which i think will be quite piss easy is this true mateys

No qualifications needed but places are at a premium, you need to really shine to get a place there.
You need to stop the weed now and not try and time it till the last minute.
Also I would possible (and this is just from your posts) readjust your attitude towards your joining process!!!

to be honest u dont seem to be the right person for the army, ur still smoking weed, and u train whilst stoned! not good that pal, if ur serious about it u wouldnt smoke it at all! you will get found out by the random drug tests.
