hello there, new to the site so thought i'd say hi first.
anyway, i've got my PRMC coming up in a months time and kinda getting lost in the best way to train.
Heres my current schedule:
Monday: Gym = 3 mile run, Bodyweight exercises, Swim
Tuesday: Gym = cycling/rowing HIIT, bodyweight exercises, Swim
Wednesday: Gym= same as monday
Thursday: Gym = Max press ups, sit ups, pull ups. Swim
Circuit class in evening.
Friday: Gym = same as monday & wednesday
Saturday: Gym = same as tuesday
Sunday: REST DAY
Bodyweight exercises is usually = Press ups = 65, 3x30. Sit ups = 80 or 100, 3x40. Pull ups = 6 down to 1, then back up.
Swim is usually between 50 and 80 lengths.
i want to know whether this is sufficient for my training for PRMC. whether the bodyweight exercises should be done in circuit form or sets.
any suggestions on what else i can do?
many thanks, Dan.

cheers for the reply's lads. i will check out that other website also.
the reason im doing my running on a treadmill is because im recovering from shin splints but should be back road running fairly soon.
i do alot of swimming so 50-80 lengths is quite easy and not as boring as you might think!!
cheers.
