yes mate it is. Or if you can lift over 118kg (i think) on the static lift, your run time can be increased to 9.40

I have been told two different things:
1) That the time is 14:00, same as all AFC applicants.
2) That it is the same as normal PARA run time but there is a bit of wiggle room if do it in say 9:20 or so.

Correct .
I passed selection couple of months ago now .
i asked the people on this site if it was 9:18 or under and people was saying yes .
So i trained every night and when it came to selection i got 9:02 .
I then asked after i passed what is the run time for AFC as im going to harrogate .
The reply was ' Anything under 14mins '

I didnt mind then training though .
Try and get the best time you can . thats what they look for . Determination .
Go for the 9min mark . There is really no point in getting the bare minumum .
Just try your heart out it will pay off .

One more question that im unsure on however . In AFC when your doing PT and running do you train with your cap badges or is it all mixed into one.
:-?
Thanks guys .

Yeah they need to sort that out i think .
My friend is morbidally obese and could run that time .
Cut 3 mins off and try that .
Sounds more realistic
