If your eyesight is ok at adsc, it'll be ok at depot.

Unless of course you have a horrible accident...

Depends what it is and how bad it is. If you turn up for training with a knee injury for example on day 1, think you would be deemed unfit to start training, discharged. But I don't think your eyes can get worse in the space of a few weeks!

You'll be fine mate! :D

Shame that the British Army no longer expect a recruit to pass a spelling test.
Enough with the text speak.
I will start deleting post's where I find bad spelling or grammar.
You have been warned endlessly by the moderators regarding the above.
It ends now or your post's disappear.

Beaulock, are you seriously suggesting you can't spell 'what'?

I have a dyslexic friend who spells better in MSN than some people manage in pre-meditated posts on here. Perfection is not expected - misspelt signs are a regular source of amusement in the Forces - but a little effort is. It's not hard to put a capital letter and full stop in the right places, and to at least spell simple words properly. I'm pretty certain everyone literate enough to use a computer knows the difference between 'what' and 'wot'. That's just laziness. If you REALLY can't spell at all, I suggest A. classes and in the meantime B. use a spell-check - it takes 10 seconds to copy and paste into Word to correct errors.

Not a dig at you, but a minority who have persisted with illegible posts. Seriously, you'd get far more help/answers if we could read them without struggling to decipher them first.

Why would you fail the medical at Catterick, if you've just passed the physical medical at selection?
