I think if you're injured going to basic at Catterick you're put in the rehab facilities until you're fit again.

:o  No advice is a lot better than bad advice but if people want too listen too someone with zero experience and zero knowledge, i guess they will learn the hard way then.

Sorry
Some truth to what i said, you're put in a physiotherapy rehab clinic if you're injured during basic, dont know anything about injury prior to attending basic though :/
These kinds of questions should really be asked directly to a recruiter anyway, someone with definite knowledge, sort of a risk taking advice from a forum by the poster

And the award for the bonest thread with the bonest answers of the week goes to......................

This one!

If you are worried about carrying a jerry can, I'd stay clear of a bergen...nasty buggers them. Oh and dont take speed, it will show up in your wee wee and then you are buggered.

Also avoid firing a rifle, pressups, pullups, rope climbs, saluting if its your right shoulder (especially if holding a jerry can at the same time and you forget its in your hand....nasty head injury may occur)

Im sure the Army wil be fine aslong as you let them know you find it hard to do certain things, you may even skip basic training altogether and advance direct to being of some use where shoulders arent required, paras maybe, so you can just dangle on a chute, avoid steering though and jump in clean order. (sandy is going to kill me! lol!)

Its masterbating ok or do you use your other arm?

Or try a gust of wind if stood in a certain way with a pair of tights over your head? Works for me!

I find AA meetings great, my knowledge of cars has come on a vast amount. What use they will be to someone in the outback I have no idea, never been there.

Ask Tom, he'll know, or if he doesnt he'll quote it from some awesome website.

www.blow-a-bud.com has him listed as top poster.......

Doc you forgot to mention that ironing will also be too hard for him and maybe cleaning your kit and boot's but apart from all the stuff me and Doc have said you should be fine mate.

On a serious not if I could'nt even lift a jerry can (which are light as f@#k) I would ask my basic be delayed until I'm 100% feeling phsyically and mentally ready for it.

There's a challenge...
Who can do the most jerry-can-salutes in a minute?
