THE ANNUAL FOOTBALL MATCH , THE PARACHUTE REGIMENT V THE ROYAL MARINES HAS
BEEN SET FOR THURSDAY THE 12TH FEBRUARY 2009. KICK OFF 18:30 AT GARRISON B
GROUND COLCHESTER. NEXT TO THE HOCKEY PITCH ON ABBEY FIELDS

TEAMS WILL BE COMPETING FOR THE FALKLANDS CUP

MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC ARE INVITED TO ATTEND.

Whats the crack with football in the regiment? i heard that if you play for the army it takes you away from your soldiering which i dont want to happen but its alrite too play for your regiment as its not as serious as army football. As ive stopped football to join the army, it would still be nice to have a kick around while im in there

In the Para's sport is taken very seriously and there can be a many a good skive if you are attached to some sporting group in the Regiment
