You have to do a couple of laps around the pool mate, nothing major. Well, you did in 2007 (long time ago) and things have changed, but thats what is was.... :D

Not sure of the number mate, as it was a while ago, but it was Arnhem Plt. Right on the top floor of the worst accomadation in Catterick I think! Was even a sign for asbestos in our corridor! lol :D

What about you?

Nice one.... lol :D

Can't remember exactly, but i'm sure that are platoon was re-named 'Arnhem' because Tamera (or one of the other platoons) had been given such a bad name from getting thrashed so much. Not sure if thats true but it's quite funny! :D :D

Better not say too much, don't want to worry anyone who's going soon :o

yeah we had a cpl who was in the 3 para book (dont know if i can put his name on here...?), he was awesome, he was harsh alot of the time, but when he wasn't he was well funny. All our platoon nco's were fair in my opinion, they beasted us good and proper most of the time but they were all quality.

My capt said if i end up back in para reg training, to find him and he'll buy me a pint... what do you reckon if go find him: i get a pint of warm fosters from the hub, or a smack in the teeth..? I reckon the teeth.

Think I know the one your on about.....
My section commander was awasome too, he had just come back from Afganistan, so he was really sound, and concentrated more on teaching us stuff than making our beds properly and that! :D

There is a picture of him in the book '3 PARA' too, which is a good read by the way!

Think your platoon commander will give you an extra flapjack and thats about it! Was the highlight of my day when we got those extra rations! :D

Dont talk about the flapjacks, our Sect room was at the opposite end to the plt office so when corridoor was called it was impossible to get far enough up to get anything decent, they never seemed to have enough and everyone knew it, when we got there it was apples, crisps and maybe a fruit juice, :x

What are you doing now then, did you finish the course?
