I know he joined up in late 58 or 59, he went to Malta around 60 and I saw him in Aden when visiting my parents in late 62, he was aboard a commando carrier Bulwark or Albion I can't remember. The next time I saw him he was in Eastney Barracks as a driver I think and that was in 63, after that I never saw him again until late 71 which was in Pompey, he and his family had done two tours in Singapore. I went to Ascension in Dec. 71 and on my return I called at his house in Pompey but was told they had moved and they believed it was down to Plymouth. Since then I haven't had any word of him or his family.
He is married and his wife's name is Cathy and he had 3 or 4 children the last time I saw him.
We had been at school together in Malta as teenagers and as be both came from Pompey struck a friendship. After he joined the marines we still kept in contact and whenever he came home we palled around together and I introduced him to his wife.
I hope that this little information can help locate him but from the sounds of it, without military details that maybe difficult.

I don't recall a younger relative of Bert and Eric Blythe being in the Corps.

Aye - Andy.
