One for the Gunners (and/or TGs and/or Regiment hopefuls)

Hi lads,

Just wondering really if anyone can shed any light on what happens after PGAC with regards assigning TG course dates. I'd always assumed they just put everyone who passed onto the next available TG course, but it seems now that's not the case. I've heard of lads passing the same PGAC but getting 3 seperate TG dates several months apart. So how does it work?? Do they assign you a TG date based on your performance at PGAC (i.e, fitter, more prepared blokes get sooner, blokes who only just pass get later). Does it depend on your AFCO? Your age? Just wondering as it's doing my head in having no idea how long I'm looking at before getting in. I need to make plans Re: housing, job, finances, etc, etc and I can't because I don't know if i'm looking at a month til TG or a year! ho-hum..
AST - PASSED
Interview - 13/01/09 - PASSED
Medical - 20/01/09 - PASSED
PGAC - 13/04/09 - CANCELLED
PGAC - 27/04/09 - FAIL DUE TO INJURY
PGAC Re-Attempt - 14/09/09 - ?
