O2

Post by Sisyphus »

I'm with tesco.net but am thinking of changing to O2. Anyone got any experience with them, good or bad?

I see they're a Telefonica company. We were Telefonica customers in Spain and they were useless. Or, rather, service provision and customer service were poor.

Thanks

I was with them for 3 years, their telephone staff are pretty useless, direct debits not being set up when I asked, or cancelled etc. Took them 4 months to reimburse me when I moved to orange after they had charged me too much.

Throughout the contract not much went wrong, but when it did I felt I didnt have a hope in hell to get it sorted over the phone within a reasonable time scale.

In my personal opinion as long as you don't have to speak to them often, it's not too bad, they tend to have great network coverage and always get the new phones in fairly quickly. Although they are trying to completly phase out 12 month contracts in favour of 18 months...and my phones never last me more than 6.

I have a contract with O2, never had any problems with coverage or anything. I recently took out a contract with Orange, and when I called O2 to end my contract with them, they offered to reduce my monthly bill to 10 quid for 18 months and give me 150 quid credit... Still get 400 free minutes a month, and 200 texts!
Who would say no?

O2 Is good value for money but crap customer service.

Few o2 offers for PAYG are:-

top up £10 a month and receive 300 free texts, £15 for 500 & £30 for 1000.
top up £10 a month and receive unlimited texts to o2 numbers, top up £15 a month and receive unlimited texts and calls to o2 numbers.

Pay monthly has a few good offers just check o2.co.uk
