Post by Mattyrule13 »

Alreet lads,, my 1st comment on here. Im looking at joining the Paras and have been for a long time, been doing alot of training towards getting myself closer to it. Im goin to start that Training Programe that was sent on here though. I was wondering is there any sort of diet i could be doing to help with protien and make sure im keeping away from the wrong foods, replys would be appreciated

This has been covered many times in the past, just stick nutrition in the search tab and you'll find plenty of info.

Wen I was at depot, the first time they took us for scoff they said "right, anyone know what you should and shouldn't be eating?" most people would say ooh protein and loads of carbs like pasta, rice etc but our cpl sed in a jordie accent "No, ya goes in, an has some of every fockin thing there, an if anyones plate is not fockin full, we's gonna make shua ya fockin remembers to tomora.

When you get to depot you wont have time to worry about it, when you have finished at brize norton you can start to relax and think more about what you are eating. (Unless you go straight out)

As for now i would say if you are small to med build, just ensure your calorie intake is slightly over your calorie expendature. If you are a bit on the larger side reverse it. But either way stay away from junk food and too much alchohol.

If you want an eating plan, as jabcrosshook pointed out there are some good ones on here.

Hope it helps. When are you looking to join?
