Psychometric test

Post by buzzbuzz »

Ive got my psychometric test on september 15th, and i just wanted to know whether it really matters what you wear, would it be ok to wear something casual like jeans or better to wear a shirt and tie. i know this isn't the most important of things but i just want to make sure i ake a good impression.

Nothing wrong with making a good impression, everytime I've gone to meet my recruiter I've worn shirt, trousers and shoes. I remember when I did my psychometric and only two of us in the room were going for Marines and we were the only two out of 15 dressed smart.

In relation to what you should wear, im an Australian going over to join the Royal Marines iv been in the Royal Australian Navy and if theres one thing iv learnt is first impressions count especially if your going for the military. Remember you will be being judged from the first moment and things such as presentation and speach are a must when making a good impression. Presentation is an integral part of the military in general so show them you know how to look well groomed and youll get a tick in the corrrect boxes.

Well if your aiming to be a bootneck, shirt, tie, trousers and shoes, and clean shaven, first impressions always last!
