Hello
Have just been given my date for my 3 day spec interview to become a PTI. I am slightly shocked as I was told at the AFCO previously that it would be in January!! Good job I started training hard straight away!
Any last minute training tips or pointers to help me through the course would be amazing. 17th November is 10 days away so I know as an instructor I cant do much in that time but any help would be great - even pointers on what to expected - coaching techniques that are good to use, that type of thing.
Really nervous - I do not want to fail.
Is anyone else going to the 3 day interview on the 17th November? get in touch if you are. Would be good to hear from you.

Show up to the base smart to create a good first impression.
Dont be shy and timid and afraid to speak. speak up as soon as you get there in a non arrogant way. Speak to the other candidates as soon as you meet them to get to know them. this will make the rest of the visit easier and will make it easier for when it comes to dong leadership and coaching as you'll already be used to speaking to everyone. It also shows the current PTIs that you're outgoing and confident as this is a quality they look for. no one wants a shy PTI who doesnt say anything.
Have a sense of humour.
Eat well so you have good energy for the fitness tests but expect to find hairs in the military food
Just do the best you can and dont give up on any part of it.
best of luck.
