ADSC pass rates?

Post by jah-boy »

Does anyone have any idea how many people pass and how many people fail at ADSC.

Just interested to know what the pass rate is like.

Thanks,
Josh

I guess its down to the group that goes there mate. I have been told alot of people fail in the medicals with 'heart murmurs' caused by fizzy drinks, caffeine, anxiety(being nervous). Have read on forums quite a few people have failed on the 1.5 mile run, either failing to finish or failing to finish within the time required, the same with team tasks dont stand to the side and be shy get stuck in and get your thinking cap on.

Well if you can work in a team im guessing? Get stuck in, show your not shy or quiet and if you have ideas you share them with everyone, looking for leadership qualities stuff like that. Just try and shine i guess lol.

Yeah, scenario usuall involves not touching the imaginary mine field working over or arround the problem and not loosing a man,.. and like every one keeps saying don't shy out.

The only other thing is don't DON'T! step over the line because if you do thats 'insta'loosa'leg'a' and you have to sit out untill the end and you can be failed for this.

Not sure how reliable these figures are, but I found a page that has RSC attendance and pass figures, and gives a failure rate.

http://www.armedforces.co.uk/army/listings/l0137.htm

Hope this helps :)l

the team tasks are fine as long as you get stuck in there..its not like the dvd you get given because if you 'blow your leg off' you dont have to sit out until the end, basically everyone in your group just has to start the task again from scratch....you dont even have to finish the tasks just as long as you put 100% in and communicate, give ideas to eachother you will be fine...make sure your heard but not seen as being too overpowering, when i went to selection most people failed for heart murmurs, the run and the jerry can carry...nobody failed for the team tasks

Yes i just come back from my ADSC & the team tasks is one of the most important is the team tasks, the sergeant said if you do great on everything but shit on your team tasks they will defer you. Just get stuck in and shout crap and be aggressive lol.
