Deffered for 6 months... Does anyone know the appeal process

Post by jawtec »

Hi

Ive just found out today i have been deffered for 6 months due to recently suffering a partial dislocation of my right shoulder, my doctor at the fracture clinic has told me he is willing to support me as much as he can and will inform the army i have made a full recovery & that there is no reason why i can not start immediately.

Has anyone appealed before, have any advice or know how the procedure works..

Thanks
James

Send a letter to the medical officer at your adsc explaining that you wish to appeal and give your case with appropriate medical evidence that you are medically fit.
However seen as you are being deferred for six months you are possibly wasting your time as when I appealed it took them six months to sort it out.
